In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receipt, handling, and storage of materials. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management will drive efficiency and accuracy across our supply chain. This position offers a vibrant environment where your skills in forklift driving and materials handling will be essential to our success. Whether you're experienced in warehouse supervision or looking to grow your skills in shipping and receiving, this role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation. Duties Receive incoming shipments. Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents, ensuring precise order picking and inventory updates within our warehouse management system. Organize and store materials safely in designated areas while maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update stock levels to support accurate warehouse records. Operate heavy equipment safely for material movement, including load & unload tasks. Requirements Bilingual (Spanish/English) Prior experience operating forklits Ability to safely work around heavy steel products (plate, beam, tube) including understanding of load shift, pinch points, and line-of-fire hazards Commitment to strict adherence to safety protocols. Demonstrates a safety-first mindset and accountability for personal and team safety Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy Team-oriented with a willingness to support operations. Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (standing, walking, climbing, bending for extended periods) Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise) Basic computer skills for inventory systems (ERP scanning, tagging, or handheld devices) Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as business demands require Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions. Responsible for moving inventory or equipment, filling customer orders, pulling material from racks, unloading incoming material, loading trucks and/or customer vehicles, & helping maintain the upkeep of the warehouse. Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations. Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation. Tags material for proper identification and completes all required documentation. Moves material from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift. Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Sorts and places material on rack, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. Spot checks on inventory, completes daily checks for proper tagging of material, as directed. Reports any irregularities to supervisor for direction. Restocks material. Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
