In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure timely fulfillment of customer requests Manage shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness Load and unload materials with heavy lifting techniques while adhering to mechanical knowledge guidelines Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and placement of goods on pallets or racks Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with supervisors to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution environments with knowledge of warehouse management systems Hands-on experience operating forklifts, crane equipment, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when necessary Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking Ability to operate RF scanners accurately for order picking and inventory management Construction or industrial background is a plus; previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving processes Join us as a Warehouse Material Handler where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
