Job Description

Company Overview MG Remediation, Inc. is an environmental contracting and abatement company dedicated to delivering quality remediation and restoration services. Position Overview We are looking for an Abatement/Warehouse Worker to deliver supplies and construction materials, remove trash from job sites, and clean and organize the warehouse. MG specializes in removing asbestos and lead containing building materials from residential and commercial structures, particularly older properties undergoing renovation or demolition, or being repaired following fire or water damage. The work involves cleaning, delivering materials, and wearing personal protective equipment. Daily Tasks Driving a company vehicle to multiple local job sites. Constructing containment areas prior to the start of abatement or decontamination work. Removing hazardous building materials from surfaces, structures, or equipment using hand or power tools. Cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment. Loading and unloading materials and waste into containers or onto trucks. Qualifications and Experience Must have a valid California driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to work in confined areas in hot or cold temperatures. Ability to perform heavy physical work over prolonged periods. Ability to comprehend and follow the safety procedures required to handle asbestos-containing materials. Ability to work in safety clothing and respiratory equipment. Ability to use the tools, materials, and equipment used in general construction work. Must be able to pass a physical examination and drug test as required by state and federal regulations at the time of appointment. Must be able to drive a 16' box truck. Preferred Possess an AHERA Asbestos Worker or Supervisor certification. Experience in the building trades, especially demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, or mold remediation, abatement.

$24.00•$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0•50.0 per week
