Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm Position Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining the flow of production and distribution by pulling components and raw materials from inventory using QAD, staging them for production, and assisting with warehouse organization and cleanliness. This role also includes supporting shipping, receiving, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities Pull and stage components and raw materials for production. Break down, wrap, and store pallets. Perform cycle counts of inventory. Pull, prepare, and stage orders for shipment. Complete component documentation accurately. Organize and maintain warehouse areas. Support general warehousing and facility maintenance tasks. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and stand-up lift trucks. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Basic computer skills required for material transactions. Ability to read and follow written procedures in English. Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English and Spanish. Strong multitasking ability and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Previous material handling experience preferred. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience preferred. OSHA forklift certification preferred. Physical Requirements Standing and walking frequently (3-6 hours per day). Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, squatting, and kneeling. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently. Frequent hand/wrist repetitions and fine motor movements. Good depth perception, peripheral vision, color vision, and near/far acuity required. Ability to hear and distinguish sounds such as alarms, vehicles, and machinery.
