Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution center focused on delivering exceptional service. Duties- Shift 2nd and 3rd Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update stock records. Pick and pack customer orders with precision, utilizing order pickers and barcode scanning technology to ensure accuracy. Prepare shipments for dispatch by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly in accordance with shipping standards. Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities against purchase orders, and stock items efficiently in designated locations. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves systematically and conducting regular inventory counts. Assist with order fulfillment processes using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to manage stock levels effectively. Support shipping and receiving activities by documenting transactions in AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Collaborate with team members across departments to optimize warehouse distribution processes. Skills Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures. Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRPs. Strong understanding of order picking & packing techniques for e-commerce and retail distribution channels. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment. Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure products are shipped securely and efficiently. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and documentation. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments. This role is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while supporting the company's commitment to timely delivery and customer satisfaction. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
