Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient distribution operations. This energetic position involves handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting order fulfillment processes. You'll be an essential part of maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment while contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. Perform order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to ensure timely order fulfillment for customers. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility. Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling materials and supplies with mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting techniques. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures during heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and improve warehouse distribution processes. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 systems, RF scanners, and inventory control methods. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting on warehouse equipment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and safety compliance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during stocking or order picking tasks. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling in a busy warehouse environment.
