Warehouse Associate Aquarium of the Pacific - 4.2 Signal Hill, CA Job Details Temporary $17 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee assistance program Employee discount Qualifications Computer operation Forklift Driver's License Attention to detail Warehouse experience Full Job Description The Warehouse Associate is responsible for inventory receiving, storage, tracking, and the exchange of merchandise between the warehouse and Aquarium retail locations. The position also operates a box truck to safely transport inventory, supplies, and merchandise between the warehouse and nearby/short-distance locations as needed. Ensures delivery and pickups while following all safety and vehicle-operating procedures. Monday through Friday 7:00am to 11:00am. Responsibilities Ship retail merchandise to the Aquarium from warehouse Receive retail merchandise ordered from the Aquarium to warehouse Store overstock merchandise, brochures, bulk supplies, and Aquarium stock stationary Warehouse and assist unused Aquarium displays, files, archives, and supplies Ensure retail merchandise is priced accurately before being sent to Aquarium Skills PC knowledge Basic data entry skills Basic math skills Attention to detail Consistently accurate and reliable Highly organized Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack Able to drive a box truck Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse preferred Previous experience in driving a box truck California driver's license in good standing Forklift certified preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
