We sell steel & other metals to the general public in a warehouse environment. Warehouse associates spend most of their time pulling & cutting steel orders then loading customer vehicles. Basic math is part of this job. Pull orders will specify cut dimensions & lengths with instructions but basic math skills may be required for every order. Adding & subtracting numbers on the spot and understanding basic dimensions is crucial. This job is very physically intense requiring manually pulling, cutting, packaging steel into various shapes such as bundles. The ability to lift up to 75lbs is required, heavier loads & bulky items we pull using forklifts & trolleys. 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day is normal. We operate light industrial machinery such as saws & shears to cut various metals to size. Safety while working is paramount here & a top priority. Training on safe operation of equipment & PPE requirements mean safety glasses, hearing protection, steel tip boots & more must be worn all day. Shift is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM with a 30 minute lunch. Average hours per pay cycle are around 85-90hrs per person - bi-weekly pay via Direct Deposit or check.

Responsibilities:
