  • Job Title: Warehouse Worker
  • Job Description
  • This role supports warehouse operations by handling clothing products, performing computer-based tasks, and ensuring accurate picking, packing, and inventory activities. You work with RF scanners and follow established processes to maintain efficient, organized, and high-quality order fulfillment.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform folding and repacking of clothing items with a strong focus on accuracy and presentation.

+ Use RF scanners to locate, pick, and process orders according to assigned numbers and instructions.

+ Carry out general labor tasks in the warehouse, including moving, organizing, and staging merchandise as needed.

+ Support production activities by preparing items for shipment and maintaining workflow efficiency.

+ Maintain accurate inventory by scanning items correctly and reporting discrepancies or issues promptly.

+ Use computers to complete work tasks, follow order information, and update system records as required.

+ Read and interpret pick tickets, labels, and work instructions to ensure correct items and quantities are processed.

+ Communicate clearly in writing and verbally to report completed work, issues, or changes in orders.

+ Follow all safety guidelines in a warehouse environment where forklifts and other equipment are in use.

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards to support a safe and efficient operation.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience with packing and repacking merchandise, especially clothing items.

+ Experience in inventory support, including counting, scanning, and tracking products.

+ Production or warehouse experience performing general labor and material handling tasks.

+ Ability to perform picking and packing using RF scanners and order numbers.

+ Comfort using computers to follow work instructions and update order or inventory information.

+ Strong attention to detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and labels are processed.

+ Ability to read and write to understand work documents and communicate task status.

+ Capability to work safely in a large warehouse environment with active equipment such as forklifts.

+ Reliability and consistency in following procedures and meeting daily productivity expectations.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience using handheld RF scanners to pick and track orders.

+ Prior work in general labor, production, or distribution center environments.

+ Ability to work independently while also coordinating with team members as needed.

+ Comfort with repetitive tasks such as folding and packing while maintaining quality standards.

+ Monolingual candidates are welcome; ability to communicate clearly in at least one language is required.

  • You work in a large, climate-controlled warehouse where forklifts and other material-handling equipment operate regularly.

The environment is structured and safety-focused, requiring close-toed shoes and appropriate work attire; pajamas, Crocs, and slippers are not permitted. You use RF scanners and computers as part of your daily tasks and move between different areas of the facility to pick, pack, and organize clothing items. The setting supports steady, organized work with clear processes and expectations.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.

00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
