Full Job Description Description:
F3 Marina is a leader in professional marina management and consulting services to marina owners anywhere. Our services include all aspects of waterfront development and management, including; marinas and adjacent upland property, such as multi-family and retail. We provide the expertise, experience and attention to detail to delight our boaters, clients and communities while maximizing occupancy and revenue. We are seeking new members for our team at the Vallejo Marina. Dockhands are responsible for dock maintenance and repair, the safe mooring of boats and general operations of the docks by assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats and dispensing fuel. Dockhands will engage in general building and grounds maintenance including restrooms cleaning and lawn care. Dockhands provide outstanding customer service to boat owners and other visitors to the marina.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have experience and interest in completing general repair and maintenance projects, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent, certificate trained or experienced in a relevant trade (e.g. electrical or mechanical engineering, carpentry, fabrication, general boatyard and yard work.
Other requirements include:
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificate or permits beneficial to the marina, including health and safety certification. Six (6) months of experience in a similar role. A good general knowledge of marina operations including boat lifting, handling and towing, plant and equipment maintenance. Proven skills in VHF communication, first-aid and fire-fighting procedures. Proficiency in swimming and a valid driving license.
