Job Title General Labor Worker - Logistics/Warehouse Department Department Logistics / Warehouse Reports To Warehouse Manger FLSA Status Exempt Non-Exempt Employment Type Full-Time Part-Time Position Summary The General Labor Worker in the Logistics/Warehouse Department is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations by loading, unloading, moving, storing, and preparing pistachio products and materials. This position assists in maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and workplace safety standards. Essential Functions Assist in loading and unloading pistachio products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas. Move and transport products throughout the warehouse using manual or powered equipment. Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations. Prepare shipments by labeling, packaging, and staging products according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas. Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, debris removal, and sanitizing workspaces. Conduct inventory checks and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records. Follow GMPs, safety procedures, food safety requirements, and company policies. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues to supervisors. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, logistics, or general labor experience preferred. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic math and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and workplace safety. Work Environment Warehouse and logistics environment. Exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Indoor and outdoor work may be required. Exposure to pistachios and other food allergens. Use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation products may be required. PPE may be required.
