Move forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Worker in Los Angeles, CA. As a Warehouse Worker you will: Job Description Day to Day Responsibilities Preparing floral product for shipment to customers by working on assembly line to package products. Duties may include removing product from boxes, placing product onto assembly line, placing product into a receptacle (such as a vase), removing product from assembly line, and placing product into shipping boxes per customer specifications, moving boxes to pallets to prepare for shipping. Assist with pulling product from inventory and delivering to packing lines as needed Assist in building pallets for shipping per customer orders as needed Ability to make basic mathematical calculations Operating work tools after appropriate training provided Other duties in the day to day operation of a warehouse as assigned Ability to follows instructions of team leader, QC manager, and/or Assembly Manager's administrative personnel Ability to communicate effectively by balancing listening and talking and to resolve disagreements in an appropriate manner Ability to act professionally with co-workers Ability to be flexible when asked to perform other tasks or jobs Ability to understand instructions and to understand and solve simple problems Ability to show up for work on time as scheduled except as permitted under Company policies This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have:
Possibly lifting and handling product up to 35 LBS, repeatedly and continuously throughout the day Cleaning up warehouse as directed by supervisor including sweeping Reaching above the shoulders to retrieve product from shelves occasionally Occasional stooping, pushing, pulling, and squatting There are some areas of the warehouse that are refrigerated to approximately 38-42 degrees and the position may include going into those areas Preferred Skills & Qualifications worked on an assembly line with flowers and agriculture. Nice-to-have skills that would require attention to detail Bilingual in
English and Spanish Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm plus
OT Pay Rate :
