In one of its business segments, HDW tests metallic and composite pressure vessels both destructively and non-destructively. Hexagon Digital Wave is a rapidly growing company looking for motivated, self-starting individuals to further the safety of pressure containment systems worldwide.Job Summary:
Hexagon Digital Wave is currently looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our team who can excel in our fast-paced, high performing, collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to join a recognized and growing (global) company, where you will have a direct impact on our ability to safely deliver quality products at a competitive cost.Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift or pallet jack; loading, unloading, and transporting Handle and/or move compressed gas cylinders. Strategically sort empty compressed gas cylinders by type and size Organize and arrange cylinders in correct staging areas Visually inspect and maintain gas cylinders Properly stamp serial numbers and label cylinders Load, unload cylinders or tanks on pallets and track type and quantity of cylinders Ensure protection caps are secured over valves and cylinders are labeled correctly Document and follow all SOPs for testing gas cylinders Understand and learn FDA, DOT, GHS, OSHA, and HAZCOM requirements Able to perform basic data entry Accurately document and track production needs and requirements Communicate with all stakeholders effectively ensuring final quality of work Maintain a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned by managementSupervisor Responsibilities:
The job has no supervisory responsibilities.Education, Certifications & Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Completion of a technical or vocational school preferred. 2 - 4 years hands-on mechanical experience required. Experience with computer software a plus. Experience with basic MS Office products is desired. Experience with test equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs Be able to stand on your feet 10 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions Ability to work indoor/outdoor with hot summer and cold winter conditions Strong track record of following safety procedures Ability to perform repetitive work functions in a production environment Passion to follow regulatory requirements and compliance procedures Effectively communicate with fellow employeesPhysical Demand & Work Environment:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to see finite differences in materials and measurement equipment, and ability to adjust focus and distinguish between colors, shades, and brightness's. This position may work in the plant and outdoors in the field, therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes to include cold and heat. The work described while working in the plant or field will require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance which may include: safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, leather gloves, safety vest and steel toed boots.Job Type:
