Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the seamless flow of goods from receipt to shipment. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure our warehouse runs smoothly, safely, and accurately. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling—all while contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize inventory. Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately. Perform stock replenishment, stocking, and order picking activities to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper packaging according to company standards. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies promptly. Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling materials safely and efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations including inventory management, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; mechanical knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 platforms, RF scanners, and other inventory control tools. Strong understanding of materials handling techniques including heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, packaging, and order picking. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments and heavy equipment operation. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is highly desirable. Ability to perform mechanical tasks related to heavy equipment operation or maintenance when necessary. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
