Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support operations in Commerce City. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced production environment, handling material movement, waste management, and general cleanup while maintaining strict safety standards. Responsibilities Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the production floor. Manage waste streams using dumps, hoppers, and roll-off bins. Safely dump hopper contents into designated roll-off containers. Break down pallets and materials using a sawzall. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow all site-specific and company safety protocols. Support production team needs to keep workflow efficient. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating a forklift. Experience in material handling. Ability to use a sawzall for material breakdown. Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior forklift operating experience in a production or industrial environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Work Environment Work in an industrial/production setting at the Vestas facility in Windsor, CO. The environment is fast-paced with frequent movement and equipment operation, requiring standing, lifting, and operating machinery throughout the shift. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
