Job Description

Job Summary This is a temporary warehouse project expected to last three months or longer, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely retrieving, moving, processing, and storing records management boxes within a warehouse environment. The role requires frequent lifting, operation of warehouse equipment, adherence to safety procedures, and a strong commitment to accuracy, productivity, confidentiality, and quality standards. Essential Functions Retrieve, transport, and refile records storage boxes throughout the warehouse according to project requirements. Pull boxes from shelving, including upper storage levels, using rolling staircases and approved material-handling equipment. Safely lift and move boxes weighing 40-50 pounds on a regular basis and participate in team lifts for boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. Barcode, process, and track new records storage boxes and boxes scheduled for destruction. Pull access lists and locate requested files and boxes accurately and efficiently. Perform box and file refile activities while maintaining proper records organization. Assist with warehouse bay consolidations and inventory management projects. Operate picker forklifts and other authorized company equipment in accordance with safety policies and operating procedures. Conduct required pre-operation inspections of equipment, including checks of batteries, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguishers. Complete warehouse pickups, deliveries, and related transportation activities as assigned. Perform routine warehouse and vehicle maintenance duties. Return equipment to designated charging stations and prepare equipment for overnight charging at the end of each shift. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of customer records and information. Meet productivity, accuracy, quality, and timeliness standards while working independently or as part of a team. Follow all Occupational Safety and Health regulations, company policies, and federal, state, and local transportation laws. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Participate in two-person lifts for boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. Regular bending, reaching, climbing, standing, walking, and material handling throughout the workday. Ability to work safely in physically demanding warehouse conditions. Work Environment Warehouse temperatures may range from 80°F to 100°F. Environment may be hot, dry, dusty, and industrial in nature. Portable restroom and handwashing facilities are available onsite. Employees may take additional cooling breaks during extreme heat conditions. Travel between the warehouse and office location may be required. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and vehicles. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, security, and safety standards.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour
