Job Description:
In the role of the warehouse specialist working in Northglenn, CO, you will be part of Prost Brewing Company. The warehouse specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations including but not limited to ensuring that the inventory and equipment necessary for brewing operations are stored, organized, and maintained in an efficient manner. The warehouse specialist will be responsible for reviewing purchase orders, quality checking and preparing the product for delivery. The warehouse specialist will be required to deliver products to the Prost Biergarten network. Deliveries will occupy approximately 20-40% of the specialist time per week. The warehouse specialist will assist the brewing team on the packaging line on an as-available"/ as-needed basis. Schedule will be determined by the Logistics Coordinator. This position will need to serve as redundancy for the delivery driver role on an as needed basis. Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
- Receive, store, and organize all incoming inventory, including but not limited to raw materials, packaging materials, and brewing supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for brewing operations.
- Understand and comply with all safety protocols related to the handling and storage of chemicals, raw materials, and equipment in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with brewing and packaging teams to fulfill material requests and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Follow proper storage techniques to prevent spoilage or damage to perishable goods.
- Enture cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area, including regular sweeping, dusting, and disposal of waste materials.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and ensure proper handling and storage of received goods.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning.

- Inventory management
- Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes o Experience in Encompass Cloud is preferred
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure fulfillment of all sales orders.
- Responsible for coordinating the delivery of finished goods inventory levels, inbound, and outbound freight.
- Become certified and operate forklifts (and other warehouse machinery) safely and efficiently.
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive a box truck
- Loading and unloading of finished goods / raw materials as needed
- Respond to emergency calls during off shift as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent education
- Proficiency in SAP based ERP software (Orchestrated / Encompass)
- Must have knowledge of commercial truck loading and unloading requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar role, preferable in the food and beverage industry.
- Possess a proven track record of achievement in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills required so they can relate to all levels of operations, clients, and supplier contacts. Physical Requirements
- Frequent physical movement in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise.
- Ability to work on / around potentially dangerous equipment/machinery with moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to work in tight/cramped workspaces. Ability to work in high precarious places including ladders and steps.
- Heavy lifting required (165+lbs)
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, etc. for extended periods of time. Benefits
