This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and stockroom management. The Warehouse Specialist II will use Kaman's ERP/WMS systems to maintain inventory accuracy, support internal and external customers, optimize warehouse workflows, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities for internal and external customers. Perform inventory transactions, including job issues and cycle counts. Participate in cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems. Manage multiple stockrooms, including bin setup and maintenance. Select and issue stock for sales orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support basic shipping functions and coordinate with external partners as needed. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Identify opportunities to improve space utilization, material flow, and warehouse efficiency. Investigate and help resolve inventory, scheduling, and shipment discrepancies. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow OSHA, FAA, DOT, and company safety requirements. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and shipping/receiving. Preferred Qualifications Previous aerospace warehouse/logistics experience . Experience identifying and resolving scheduling, shipment, and inventory discrepancies. Strong communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and management. Forklift certification and/or demonstrated forklift experience. Experience using pallet jacks and basic hand tools. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending and reaching. Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs. , with occasional heavier lifting. Ability to wear required PPE, including gloves and eye protection. Work Environment & Safety Work is performed in a warehouse environment where adherence to safety, environmental, and quality procedures is required. Employees may work with or around adhesives, resins, solvents, power tools, chemicals, and composite materials.
