Material Handler- 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is looking for 2 nd Shift Material Handlers in Danbury, CT. This position is temp to hire for the right candidate.

Schedule is as follows:

Monday- Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $21/hour.

Job Description:

The material handler will be in charge of moving materials with a forklift, creating labels for shipping/receiving, removing cardboard, assembling and reassembling racks, tracking inventory for the buyer and planner and packing actuators as needed. Positon is in the warehouse/logistics team and will report directly to the warehouse manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Complete all assigned duties. Will be measured by the following: Moving material in and out of palette racks with forklift. Moving required materials with forklift to assembly team. Creating labels for sub assembly using Microsoft Word. Removing waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters. Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves. Taking inventory counts.

Job Requirements:

Forklift certification. Knowledge of scales and weigh counts. Must have adequate reading and writing skills to create and read labels.
