In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing materials for shipment, ensuring that every product reaches its destination in perfect condition. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to excellence in warehouse operations. Responsibilities Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Perform order picking and packing with precision to ensure correct quantities and proper packaging standards are met Handle materials with care during stocking, inventory management, and quality control checks to prevent damage or errors Assist in shipping & receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring timely dispatch Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves according to warehouse protocols Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and adhere to safety regulations during heavy equipment operation and material handling Experience Prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with familiarity in order fulfillment, picking & packing, and stock management Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with quality control standards Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during load & unload tasks Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is advantageous This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute their skills in a lively environment focused on efficiency and safety.
