Job Description

Cadi Company is an established manufacturer and distributor of metals (copper) looking for a Shipping / Receiving / Material Handler to join our team. The Shipping / Receiving / Material Handler will be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for moving inventory around the warehouse using various forklifts. The ideal candidate for the Shipping /Receiving / Material Handler position will have experience with computers, basic math as well as be familiar with a tape measure.
Responsibilities:
Pick and distribute material for sales orders/pick sheets Unload and weigh incoming material, check against order, and record in computer Use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, cranes and other handling equipment to move material Preform audits of inventory as needed Receive material in computer and check for discrepancies Work closely with quality and other departments Follow safety procedures Keep work area neat, clean, and organized Ability to work independently and as a team member Willing to work overtime as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience operating forklifts required Math skills (understand decimal / fractions) required Warehouse experience Excellent attitude and attendance a must High school diploma or equivalent Computer skills a plus but will train the right candidate The Shipping Receiving Material Handler spends almost 100% of their time in the warehouse in a fast-paced environment with some heavy lifting.
