Material Handler - 2nd Shift 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Norwalk, CT $25.30 an hour Hamilton Connections 151 reviews $25.30 an hour We are looking to hire a skilled Material Handler to join a large manufacturing facility in Norwalk Connecticut. This role is critical to maintaining, accurate inventory control, and on-time customer shipments. The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP experience, forklift experience, and experience cleaning, preparing, and packaging materials for shipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
  • Accurately enter and track inventory transactions in SAP
  • Stage raw materials and finished goods for production and shipment
  • Clean, prepare, and package materials according to company and customer specifications
  • Label, palletize, and secure shipments to ensure safe transport
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and perform cycle counts
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials to workstations
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist with shipping documentation and carrier coordination as needed Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience using SAP for inventory management and transaction processing
  • Valid forklift certification and proven forklift operating experience
  • Experience cleaning, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse scanning systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills Hours are Monday - Friday 2:30pm -11pm $25.
