KING INDUSTRIES, INC. MATERIAL HANDLER JOB DESCRIPTION 1.
Skills Required:
Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, and multiplication). Ability to read and respond to written instructions. Basic Computer Skills 2.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate the following processes Tow Motor Operation. Disposal of non-process general trash. Transport of dumpsters to Transfer Station. Fill empty drum trailer daily. Transport Raw Material to operating areas. Assist with new drum trailer deliveries. Transport material, equipment and packaging materials to required areas. Transport new drums to warehouse. Prepare drums for hot box use. Record all material Transfers on tow motor sheet. Aid and assist shipping and receiving in the transfer of drums and pails from storage warehouse to shipping warehouse. Assist in propane deliveries. Aid and assist Supply Chain Specialist with inventory of miscellaneous manufacturing items. Permanent member of quarterly physical inventory team. Conduct safety inspections on tow motor both daily and weekly. Maintain a high level of housekeeping standard with-in operating space. Support Haz Mat teams in spill response when needed. Participates in Company wide effort to promote quality assurance in compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & OHSA 18001.
Maintain a general knowledge of
ISO 9001, 14001 OHSA 18001
requirements.
