Seasonal Yard worker Love being outdoors and around boats? Petzold's Marine Center is looking for a dependable Yard Worker to join our haul-out crew at our Portland, CT location this fall. This is a full-time seasonal position from approximately October 1 through Christmas, with the potential for a full-time opportunity for the right individual. The primary focus of this position will be supporting our busy fall haul-out and winter storage season. You'll work alongside our yard team in a hands-on, fast-paced marina environment.

Responsibilities include:

Pressure washing boat bottoms as boats are hauled for winter storage Assisting with launching and hauling boats Helping block, place, stage and move boats throughout the yard Assisting with bottom painting and general boatyard work Supporting site and facility winterization Helping maintain a clean, safe and organized property Assisting the yard and service teams as needed

What We're Looking For:

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather Able to perform physical work and some heavy lifting Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Ability to work safely around boats and heavy equipment Previous marina or boatyard experience is a plus Experience operating hydraulic trailers, travel lifts and forklifts is preferred, but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn go a long way.
