WAREHOUSE & SHIPPING ASSOCIATE - CT
South Windsor, CT Support warehouse management and shipping coordination for all incoming and outgoing goods while ensuring quality in all materials and products before, during, and after production through various inspection methods while ensuring compliance to quality standards and requirements. Responsibilities
  • Support coordination with shipping companies and internal stakeholders to streamline outgoing shipments and material transfer requests according to schedules and in a timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts and record through the update of shipping logs, inventory logs, pick tickets
  • Perform receiving, inspections, and distributions of material; maintain shipping and warehouse records and documentation
  • Interpret and follow quality requirements, industry standards, customer specifications and written instructions.
  • Inspect and disposition all incoming materials and in-process products to ensure they meet quality, customer and regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Perform thorough inspections of materials, products, equipment, documentation, production processes, etc.
  • Document, record and report inspections, measurements, defects, deviations, nonconformities and noncompliance into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
  • Communicate and assist with the resolution of quality issues for internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to NCM responses, incident reporting, requests for supplier RMAs, issuance of supplier corrective actions, participation in supplier, customer and company audits.
  • Continuously monitor and enforce compliance with all quality policies, procedures and processes.
  • Assist in other various warehouse duties as required. Requirements
  • 5+ years of materials receiving, inspection and planning in accordance with ISO9001:2015, FARS, DFARS, DPAS; experience with international shipping, customs and applicable documentation.
