WAREHOUSE & SHIPPING ASSOCIATE - CT
South Windsor, CT Support warehouse management and shipping coordination for all incoming and outgoing goods. Requirements
  • 5+ years of materials receiving, inspection and planning in accordance with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D Experience with international shipping, customs and applicable documentation
  • Experience with receiving, inspection and shipping in compliance with
FARS, DFARS, DPAS
  • Experience with receiving per quality standards and environmental/international compliance regulations (e.g., RoHS, Conflict Minerals, anti-counterfeit, REACH, CE)
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, other 365 applications)
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and accurate work performance with a focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aware of OSHA warehouse safety requirements
  • Ability to lift weights per one-person lift limit Helpful Skills & Certifications

  • Experience with multiple ERP systems Responsibilities
  • Process parcel and freight shipments (including pull, pack and secure orders to customers)
  • Support coordination with shipping companies and internal stakeholders to streamline outgoing shipments and material transfer requests according to schedules and in a timely manner
  • Monitor warehouse activities and provide information and reports to interested parties
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts and record through the update of shipping logs, inventory logs, pick tickets
  • Perform receiving, inspections, and distributions of material
  • Maintain shipping and warehouse records and documentation
  • Enforce safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Set example to foster collaboration, resolving warehouse issues and discrepancies, and facilitate smooth operations
  • Perform local/regional pick-ups and deliveries as needed
  • Implement and/or support continuous improvements for internal warehouse processes
