As a Material Handler, you'll ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, supporting production, inventory accuracy, safety, and quality. Working within our Operations team, you'll help maintain smooth operations while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Move raw materials, parts, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods to designated locations using appropriate equipment and required PPE. Store and issue packaging materials to support production and shipping requirements. Wrap, strap, and prepare skids for safe storage and transportation. Move scrap and recyclable materials to designated disposal and recycling areas. Perform inventory transactions (IC and/or IT) and maintain accurate material tracking within company systems. Conduct cycle counts of raw materials, parts, and work-in-process inventory as required. Report inventory discrepancies promptly to supervision. Follow all plant, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and workplace safety requirements. Complete daily Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) safety checklists and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns. Handle hazardous materials and waste as required in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment in alignment with 5S standards. Communicate safety concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges to supervisors. Support operations during manpower shortages and high-volume workload periods when needed. Complete additional duties and training assignments as directed by leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of work experience required. Basic math and reading skills. Basic knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting. Ability to consistently lift 5 to 30 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Environment Warehouse and manufacturing environment. Some degree of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required, including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, and other required protective equipment. May involve handling hazardous materials and waste in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
