Having launched a successful sales and distribution programme from Stamford CT 3 years ago, we are seeking an Warehouse Associate to join our team as we continue our commercial expansion into the US market. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, our warehouse associates play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Undertaking a range of warehouse related duties encompassing both goods 'in' and 'out', you will be expected to maintain close working ties with all areas which includes the customer service team based in the
USA & UK.
Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is desirable. Duties Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods, always maintaining a high standard of safety. Assist with perpetual cycle counts using the RF Scanners on a weekly basis. Always being aware of possible stock shortages and informing the warehouse manager. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks. A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Receive and process customer & supplier returns. Efficiently and accurately picking and packing orders in a timely manner. Organised with excellent attention to detail. Resilience and positive attitude in challenging situations. Commitment and flexibility to meet tight deadlines. Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing circumstances. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work efficiently using own initiative. Strong team player with a willingness to actively contribute. Complying with all health and safety regulations, following proper procedures and protocols. Using Scanners, correctly picking and packing orders according to the customer requirements. Operating various warehouse equipment and machinery, adhering to proper safety guidelines. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, keeping it free from hazards and obstacles. Comply with regulatory requirements. Maintain high standards of customer service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is desirable. Experienced in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experienced in all-warehouse operations. Experienced in using scanners. Customer focused and aware of customer needs. Excellent organizational, Communication and planning skills. Dynamic and a lateral thinker. Agile. Information Technology skills, particularly MS Excel. Forklift experience preferred but training can be given.
