Job Description

Distribution business in Woodbury, Connecticut seeks a delivery driver who will help in the warehouse on non-delivery days. We are a small family-friendly employer that cares about its employees and maintaining a low-stress work environment. Must submit a resume for consideration and be willing to occasionally deliver to NYC.
Description:
Safely load up van prior to heading out on delivery route Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of packages to avoid damage Make residential and commercial deliveries in NY, CT, MA, or NJ During non-delivery days, pick and pack packages and pallets, use scanning technology to inbound wine and create outbound shipping labels, and help maintain warehouse cleanliness

Requirements :
Delivery experience required; warehouse experience preferred Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 40 pounds Skilled at using GPS navigation, following delivery instructions, and keeping to delivery schedule Flexibility for occasional longer days; regular and punctual attendance Capable of operating a forklift and/or electric pallet jack High school diploma or GED, fluent in English language Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
