. Candidates without direct truss loading/bunking experience will not be considered. We are currently seeking an experienced Truss Loader / Bunker for a busy truss manufacturing operation. This position works at the final stage of the truss production process and is responsible for handling completed trusses, moving and organizing truss stacks, staging orders, and preparing finished trusses to be loaded onto delivery trucks. Job Responsibilities Handle completed roof and/or floor trusses at the end of the manufacturing process Move, organize, separate, and stage completed truss packages Ensure trusses are properly stacked and placed in the correct staging or loading area Prepare completed truss packages for scheduled deliveries Move finished trusses from the production area into the yard/loading area Load and assist with loading trusses onto delivery trucks and trailers Organize loads based on delivery requirements Identify truss packages and ensure the correct materials are prepared for each load Work closely with production, yard, and delivery personnel Safely handle large, heavy, and awkward trusses Inspect truss stacks for obvious damage or issues before loading Maintain a clean and organized staging and loading area Follow all company and facility safety procedures Assist with additional truss yard duties as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Direct experience as a Truss Loader/Bunker is mandatory. Applicants must have previous hands-on experience working at the end of the production process in a roof and/or floor truss manufacturing facility. General warehouse, lumber yard, construction, forklift, or material-handling experience does not replace the required truss loading/bunking experience.

How completed trusses are handled after production Proper truss stacking and bunking procedures Staging completed truss packages Organizing trusses for delivery Safely moving and handling finished trusses Preparing and loading truss packages onto delivery vehicles Working safely around truss production and yard operations Additional Requirements Proven previous Truss Loader/Bunker experience Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions Comfortable handling large and awkward building components Strong understanding of workplace and yard safety Dependable transportation Excellent attendance and reliability Ability to work effectively with production and delivery teams Ability to work overtime when required by production schedules Physical Requirements This is a highly physical position that requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling building materials. Candidates must be accustomed to the physical demands of working around completed roof and floor trusses and understand proper team-handling and equipment-assisted procedures. Who We Want We are specifically looking for someone who has already performed this job in a truss manufacturing environment and can step into the operation with an understanding of how finished trusses are stacked, bunked, staged, organized, and prepared for delivery.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
