Job Description

Busy flooring company looking for a warehouse associate. This is a role for someone responsible, capable of driving multiple types of vehicles (trucks, trailers and forklifts) and able to lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions. Please only apply if capable of lifting and can meet the physical demands of the job. .
Responsibilities to include:
Receiving and tracking deliveries, warehouse inventory, preparing inventory for installs, loading customers trucks, delivering to jobsites, dump trailer, sweeping, cleaning and organizing warehouse. Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory throughout the warehouse Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting all transactions Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with trailers, trucks and pallet jacks is highly desirable Strong basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and operating warehouse equipment safely Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices in a distribution environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management and order processing This is a part time to full time position. Hours may be less in summer and be higher in season.
