We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the safe movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the facility while ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hands-on environment, takes pride in staying organized, and works well as part of a collaborative team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing operation where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are essential to daily success. Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production facility using both manual methods and material handling equipment Support shipping and receiving operations by unloading incoming shipments, preparing outbound materials, and verifying product accuracy Count, inspect, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records Utilize computer systems to track, log, and document inventory movements and shipping activities Organize and store materials on pallets, shelving, racks, conveyors, and designated storage locations Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, electric dollies, and other lifting devices as required Assist production personnel by supplying materials, moving heavy components, and supporting manufacturing operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed and customer delivery schedules are met
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required Ability to work safely in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to accurately count, inspect, and verify materials Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the workday Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing operations Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material handling equipment Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software Experience supporting production or manufacturing teams in an industrial environment Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, or material flow processes
