Job Description
Job Overview Hi there! We are an auto parts E-Commerce business seeking another warehouse associate to join our team. The ideal candidate would have some experience in either the automotive parts or e-commerce & shipping industry. The position is quite simple, with the primary tasks being processing and photographing new parts inventory, packing/shipping orders and office clerical work (pricing inventory on the computer). This position requires dedication to a set a schedule, mornings preferred. Our shipping and inventory processing office is air conditioned, the warehouse/shelving area is not. On a typical day we spend most of our time in the a/c with only being out in the warehouse to put parts on shelves or pull orders off of shelves. Responsibilities Process, pack and ship customer orders. Photograph and inspect new parts inventory and allocate a shelf location. Maintain an organized shelving/warehouse facility. Assist in office work including pricing, editing and titling parts inventory on our ecommerce platforms. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling equipment and materials. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with ecommerce or automotive parts is a plus. Experience as an order picker or in order fulfillment is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely (certification may be required). Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
