Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our distribution operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to the success of our distribution network. Duties Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, tracking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment tasks to ensure timely shipment of customer orders Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for order fulfillment Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling tasks in compliance with OSHA safety standards Support warehouse distribution operations by maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in inventory management and materials handling Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance is a plus Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures Prior experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is advantageous but not required Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating mechanical tools safely Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to construction or manufacturing environments is preferred Join us in creating an energetic workplace where your skills make a real impact!
