Driver-Warehouse Associate

OVERVIEW

This role involves coordinating local deliveries throughout South Florida and supporting daily warehouse operations. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and good communication skills. Responsibilities include transporting aircraft parts, verifying delivery documentation, assisting with shipping and receiving, and supporting inventory processes. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be proficient in basic computer applications. Key traits include flexibility, initiative, and dependability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily pickups and deliveries to local customers and vendors throughout the South Florida area. A company vehicle is provided. Safely transport aircraft parts, materials, and equipment while following company safety standards. Verify delivery paperwork, part numbers, and quantities prior to departure and upon delivery. Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery logs. Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to the Shipping and Operations teams. Support urgent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) deliveries when assigned. Maintain cleanliness and perform basic inspections of company vehicles. Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including packaging and labeling. Support cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory organization. Put parts in their proper warehouse locations after receiving or stock checks. Break down boxes, dispose of trash, and maintain warehouse cleanliness. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record. 2+ years of professional driving and/or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to safely operate company vans and small box trucks (non-CDL). Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to read and follow written instructions and emails. Proficient with basic computer applications including email and work order systems. Ability to lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually (up to 50 pounds). Warehouse operations knowledge and familiarity with shipping and stocking practices preferred. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Combination of driving and warehouse setting. Exposure to fluctuating temperatures, outdoor weather, and warehouse noise. Physical labor including loading and unloading packages. Use of material handling tools including pallet jacks, dollies, and packing equipment.

Pay:

$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
