Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices. Manage warehouse tasks including inventory organization, moving items within the facility, and operating material handling equipment. Load and secure shipments accurately for delivery, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety compliance. Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing courteous customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and maintain accurate delivery records. Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including stock replenishment, order picking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with familiarity in warehouse operations and logistics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow manual handling safety protocols. Knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling requirements in the workplace. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus; familiarity with pallet jacks and material handling equipment is desirable. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
