Job Description
All Star Transport is a trusted transportation and logistics provider specializing in dependable freight services across the United States. We are dedicated to delivering shipments safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining a strong focus on professionalism, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Position Overview We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Loader to support our transportation and freight operations. This role is responsible for the safe handling, loading, unloading, and organization of freight to ensure shipments move through our network accurately and efficiently. Primary Responsibilities Load and unload freight, materials, and shipments from trucks and trailers. Move, arrange, stack, and secure cargo using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques. Verify shipment contents and inspect freight for damage, discrepancies, or documentation issues. Assist drivers and warehouse personnel with load preparation and shipment organization. Keep loading docks, storage areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe. Follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures at all times. Support additional warehouse, yard, and logistics-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or freight-handling experience is helpful but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds on a regular basis. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Comfortable working in both indoor facilities and outdoor conditions when needed. Benefits Competitive hourly compensation.
