Job Qualifications & Skills Profile At Beach Weekend we are looking for an experienced marine operations professional with a strong background in dockhand duties, boat rental operations, customer service, retail, and administrative support. Ideal candidates will be skilled in vessel handling, docking assistance, fleet preparation, guest relations, reservation management, and retail operations. Core Qualifications Dock Operations & Vessel Handling Perform daily dockhand duties to support safe and efficient marina and rental operations. Assist customers with boarding, docking, and vessel orientation. Conduct pre-rental and post-rental vessel inspections. Prepare boats for rental, including cleaning, fueling, stocking, and readiness checks. Monitor dock conditions and maintain a safe waterfront environment. Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards. Boat Rental Operations Manage reservations and rental scheduling. Process rental agreements, waivers, payments, and customer documentation. Assist with customer check-in and check-out procedures. Provide rental orientation and safety briefings. Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and customer requests. Customer Service & Guest Experience Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after rentals. Assist guests with boating questions, local recommendations, and operational guidance. Create a welcoming and positive experience for all guests. Maintain professional communication with customers in person, by phone, and through email. Employee & Operations Support Assist with daily workforce coordination. Including retail, and register support. Help communicate operational priorities and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation. Support management with day-to-day operational needs.
