Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fills work orders, requests for materials or other stock items distributing items to production workers Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves delivered to the BU Receives materials into the inventory management system, placing at the proper location within the production system Assists with maintaining inventory accuracy and monthly cycle counts by conducting weekly audits of the MRD system Works on projects to continuously improve visual re-order points for MRD materials Updates the expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted Responsible for working closely with production staff to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and are accurately processed in a timely manner Position Summary Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Worker will perform a combination of tasks to load, unload, and move material and parts in and around the manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the inventory.
