MATERIAL HANDLER

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer orders accurately while delivering a high level of customer service. Assist trade professionals and walk-in customers with product inquiries and support. Effectively multi-task between the customer service counter, office, and warehouse operations. Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility. Inspect products for quality and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup. Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory. Support basic fabrication and machine shop tasks (experience with band saws or shears is a plus). Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers with accuracy. Perform mathematical calculations, including working with fractions and converting decimals to fractions. Assist with basic equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift. Ability to travel and work at other local sites as needed. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day. Capable of frequently lifting 50-100 lbs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
