Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving & Data Entry Specialist to support daily receiving operations. This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with accurate data entry and inventory documentation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both on a computer and within an active warehouse environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring that physical cargo matches shipment documentation and that all receiving information is entered accurately into the warehouse system. Key Responsibilities Create and process Warehouse Receipts (WR). Accurately enter shipment and receiving information into the warehouse system. Verify physical cargo against shipment documents and system information. Inspect incoming cargo for damage, shortages, discrepancies, or other issues. Take photos and document detailed receiving notes as needed. Identify and escalate damaged, missing, or incorrectly received cargo. Recognize shipments requiring special handling, including: Dangerous Goods (DG)/Hazmat Temperature-sensitive cargo Fragile items Oversized cargo High-value shipments Communicate receiving issues and shipment updates with internal teams. Maintain accurate and organized receiving documentation. Assist with general warehouse receiving activities as needed. Follow warehouse safety procedures and operational requirements. Qualifications Previous warehouse, receiving, logistics, or freight forwarding experience highly preferred. Strong data entry and computer skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to compare physical inventory/cargo against documentation. Comfortable working in both an office/system environment and on the warehouse floor. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies quickly. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Dangerous Goods (DG) or Hazmat training/certification is a plus. #CustomerService123
