In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accurate inventory handling, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using various materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements during shipping and receiving processes. Assist with order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. Manage manual handling of goods, including heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing products within the warehouse. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and adherence to shipping & receiving procedures. Follow all safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Support warehouse operations by participating in regular safety inspections, equipment checks, and cleanliness efforts. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles with familiarity in warehouse operations. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes is highly preferred. Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners for efficient materials handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Strong manual handling skills with the physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes or order picking is advantageous.
