Warehouse Inventory Assistant

Responsibilities Assist with inventory management by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading shipments with equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts. Conduct order picking and order fulfillment tasks to ensure timely dispatch of customer orders, including e-commerce packages. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using AS400 or other warehouse management systems; perform stock counts and cycle counts regularly. Help with packaging products securely for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met for each order. Operate equipment like reach trucks and forklifts safely to move pallets and stock around the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety protocols at all times. Requirements Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, or pallet jack is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, or MRP systems is a plus. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring quantities, and processing orders accurately. Ability to operate equipment such as load & unload machinery, order pickers, and packaging tools safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and order accuracy. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
