Job Description

Location:
Ormond Beach, FL Job Summary:
Incumbent works in the warehouse and manufacturing areas; Performs duties to prepare product on skids, load shipments, unload deliveries, move and store materials, and organize the warehouse. Pulls materials as requested on Inventory Move Tickets. Performs physical inventories upon request. Material handler works primarily independently, on their feet all day, must be physically able to lift and move within the warehouse areas for full duration of the shift. Incumbent supports 6S Activities, Cycle Counting and miscellaneous support of manufacturing.
Essential Functions :
Regular and reliable attendance to perform essential function duties, and in accordance with the CMP Attendance Policy. Consistently demonstrates and incorporates Safety Policies and all company rules and procedures. Complies with company SOP's; Works from verbal instructions, established routines and schedules. Unloads deliveries, visually checks cartons for obvious damage, verifies count to receiving documentation and signs receiving documentation noting any carton damage, shortage or overages. Moves material to designated holding location to await incoming quality inspection. Delivers supplies to requisitioning departments for distribution. Transfers released materials from incoming to stock. Transfers materials within the warehouse to ensure FIFO is maintained and to optimize space. Moves materials or supplies from storage location to designated work areas as directed. Positions finished goods cartons on skids, visually checks for obvious damage, verifies part number, lot number and quantity, attaches address labels and other required signage per procedure, shrink wraps, bands when necessary and weighs. Stores finished goods in specified location to await shipment and load trucks; Stocks Supplies as needed. Arranges scrap in boxes, tapes full boxes, weighs and records weights. Labels product based on type of material and moves it to designated areas to await shipment. Sweeps and operate floor scrubber and dispose of corrugate. Fulfills requested materials by production when presented with an inventory move ticket. Observes expiration dates where applicable. Performs 6S Activities; Maintains a clean and orderly work space
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Forklift operator certification Able to interpret all procedures and follow verbal instructions. Attention to detail; Ensure full traceability of materials and components. Dexterity and preciseness required to move materials and supplies. Must possess good math and writing skills. Ability to consistently maintain acceptable levels of productivity and set priorities. Basic PC Skills and ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Must follow all FDA, GMP's and ISO elements.
