Job Summary:
Responsible for picking, inspecting, packing finished products for domestic and international orders, picking and packing literature orders, receiving and storing finish goods in appropriate areas, replenishing primary pick locations from secondary locations, and label product for European shipments. Will also apply correct postage on all domestic orders, and stock all returns processed from the product services department.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Pack all domestic, international, Literature and Parts Bank orders. Perform pick confirmation on each order using the DCS system. Use the ASAP system to pick, replenish primary / secondary locations and stock all credit returns. Performing cycle counts as required on weekends. Weigh and record transportation costs on all domestic shipments. Operate postage equipment and becoming familiar with UPS / FedEx shipping systems. Operate material handling equipment carousels, conveyors, scan guns, pallet jacks to move inventory within plant four. Using Radio Frequency, DCS, JD Edwards and ASAP systems to receive and store incoming finished goods. This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA. Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities) Be proficient on Local Language Labeling system when labeling product for Europe. Able to segregate specific orders for further processing in the labeling area and able to properly place orders in correct pack areas by country. Ability to be proficient in handling multiple tasks at any given time. Must be able to attain tow motor license in areas that require one to relocate inventory. Ability to work in fast paced environment to meet shipping deadlines. Ability to write legibly and accurately. Ability to stand most of the shift and to transport in the 70-pound range. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, labels, etc. Competent in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to operate powered lift trucks and stock picking equipment. Must be able to perform duties at heights of up to 20 ft. on a stock picker. Ability to recognize errors and take corrective action to insure customer satisfaction. Ability to pick FIFO, unless instructed otherwise. Education/Experience Requirements Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Obtain ZimVie lift truck license within a reasonable timeframe.
