Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing shipments, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse and dock areas. This is a fast-paced, physically active position ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks using manual labor or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Sort, stage, and organize freight by destination Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage Maintain a clean and safe dock and warehouse environment Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Assist with inventory and basic warehouse tasks as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Basic attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous warehouse or dock experience is a plus but not required Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
