ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate whose primary focus is kitting — pulling the right components, in the right quantities, and bundling them into complete, ready-to-ship kits. Getting a kit right the first time is the whole job: a single miscount downstream means a customer opens a box that's missing a part. This is not a single-station role. Kitting is where you'll spend most of your time, but you'll regularly work across the rest of the warehouse too — receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory counts are a routine part of the week, not an occasional favor. We're a team that flexes to the day's workload, and we're upfront about that. If you're the kind of person who counts twice, keeps a clean station, and would rather learn several jobs than repeat one, you'll do well here.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Kitting & Assembly (primary) Build kits to spec by pulling components against a bill of materials, kit sheet, or work order Count, verify, and double-check component quantities before a kit is closed out Bag, box, label, and stage completed kits for stock or for outbound orders Perform light assembly and packaging work as kits require Inspect components for damage, defects, or wrong parts and pull them from the line Record completed kit quantities and component usage in our system Keep the kitting area stocked, organized, and clean, and flag components running low Follow kit instructions exactly, and speak up when a BOM or kit sheet looks wrong or does not account for components used. Broader Warehouse Support (regular, ongoing) Pick, pack, and stage customer orders using pick lists, handheld scanners, or our warehouse system Prepare outbound shipments — labeling, staging, and readying orders for carrier pickup (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, LTL) Receive incoming shipments: unload, verify against paperwork, inspect for damage, and put stock away Participate in inventory counts, cycle counts, and researching discrepancies Restock pick and kitting locations, and consolidate product as needed Move product using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and (with training) a forklift Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, and help with reorganizations and busy-season surges
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Strong attention to detail and accurate counting — this is the single most important part of the job Able to follow written instructions, kit sheets, and part numbers precisely Comfortable with basic math, reading paperwork, and using a handheld scanner or computer Able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and do repetitive hand work throughout an 8-hour shift Good close-up vision for distinguishing similar-looking parts and reading small part numbers Dependable and punctual — the team counts on full coverage each day Willing to move between kitting and other warehouse tasks as the day requires A great attitude — upbeat, cooperative, and solution-oriented At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States Preferred — we'll train the right person Previous kitting, assembly, production, or packaging experience Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience Experience working from a bill of materials (BOM), work order, or routing Experience with a warehouse management or inventory system (WMS) Forklift or pallet jack experience; certification is a plus, not a requirement

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a warehouse setting where temperatures vary with the season. The role involves extended standing at a kitting station, repetitive hand and wrist motion, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and operating material handling equipment. Closed-toe safety footwear is required. PPE provided.
