Job Description

The Warehouse Worker will receive all materials according to Standex policy. To maintain accurate inventory in the Warehouse. What You'll Do Ensure Standex receiving policies are followed with regards to received products to maintain consistency and accuracy Verify kits by examining order and contents of kit to ensure accuracy Verify received material by comparing packing slip and order shipped to ensure accuracy of the packing slip Stock office supplies and raw materials to ensure no shortages of supplies occur Maintain accurate inventory count by tracking all outgoing and incoming material to ensure that no shortages occur in production materials Receive all warehouse materials by checking delivery to ensure accuracy of order and to check for damaged material in the order Place all materials in their proper place by locating material number or bin to maintain accurate inventory of all materials Accurately assemble kits for prep assembly by utilizing picklist, material requisition, or shop order Operate Wave machine to facilitate placement/gathering for materials Ensure security of warehouse by not permitting any unauthorized personnel unless accompanied by warehouse supervisor or manager Provide materials to personnel at service counter by receiving order and accurately filling the order Assist with deliveries Maintain warehouse area by cleaning and organizing to facilitate location of materials when needed Report safety hazards to supervisor and/or safety officer immediately Warehouse is secured/locked (all exterior doors) at the end of every day Follow policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Degree or equivalent experience What We Value Ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently Ability to work under pressure Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction when furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
