Job Description

Job Summary Sizemore is seeking reliable Warehouse Material Handlers to join our team in a large, fast-paced fulfillment center in Ruskin, FL. This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable with heavy pushing, pulling, and continuous movement throughout the shift. This role requires the ability to consistently push, pull, and move heavy loads throughout the shift. Must be capable of performing physically demanding work, including frequent pushing and pulling of heavy materials with a manual pallet jack.

$15.50/hour | Weekly Pay on Friday! You will be responsible for transporting trash and corrugate (cardboard) materials using a manual pallet jack across a very large warehouse facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to pulling trash/corrugate (cardboard) shuttles, manual pallet jack operations, trash removal, parking lot, station cleaning, tote cleaning, and other duties as assigned. This does include housekeeping/janitorial duties based on business needs.
Schedule First Shift:
6:00 AM - 5:00 PM 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts) One required weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) Flexibility to work either weekend day is a plus Enjoy a consistent 3 days off each week !

Responsibilities:
Gather and dispose of all cardboard, other packing materials, wood, etc. from designated gaylords and bins. Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum (9-12 lbs.), sweeping, mopping and scrubbing. Empty all trash cans/receptacles and replace liners to fit. Ensure proper labeling, dilution and use of all cleaning chemicals available. Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. Operates specialized equipment as needed including, but not limited to, augers, balers, waste compactors, etc. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures. Drive a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase business-wide effectiveness and efficiency. Abide by and enforce Sizemore's and client's policies and procedures. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous janitorial related experience preferred. Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor. Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy in all interactions. Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in time sensitive situations. Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize. Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity. Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Working Conditions:
Shiftwork 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays. May be required to work overtime. Work may be inside or outside in various building and weather conditions. Extensive walking or standing for extended periods of time. Lifting/carrying items generally weighing 50 lbs. or less
