$18-19/hr Under the direction of the supervisor/lead, Material Handlers are responsible for: Receiving
  • Unloading trailers on a timely basis to include verification of loads compared to records such as manifests, invoices and packing lists for accuracy. Must be able to maneuver, sit down and clamp. Must have experience using RF Scanners. General warehouse labor includes warehouse upkeep and cleaning. Shipping
  • Fulfillment of customer orders to include all shipment types such as FTL, LTL and small package.
Responsibility includes documentation control, scanning, picking, and accuracy of shipments in a timely manner based on established procedures.
Required Skills/Experience:
Basic knowledge of inventory management principles of receipt, transfers, weighing and counting. Basic computer literacy, Microsoft office, tracking shipments via internet and any type of business software. Experience using email is a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms. Ability to use RF units (scanners). Experience in performing location transfers with RF is helpful. Lift heavy objects by hand or with assistance via the use of a pallet jack, forklift machine, dolly or elevated lift machine. Ability to work various shift hours and work overtime based on company needs. Proven minimum 2-year experience in warehouse environment including international shipments with basic knowledge of pulling, picking, storing and staging material.
